Atelier Trieb. A very unique holistic habitat. A garden of swirling waters and ancient trees, fortified by narrow bridges and massive walls but open to everyone, a garden of sharpened senses and meditative insights - it houses bold art, and as soon as night falls it gets a scenery of mysterious coloured light. Art reflecting nature and history is created here, from small ceramics to monumental sculptures, also made of wood and steel. A place of visionary exhibitions.
Ausgangspunkt für eine Erkundung des Dütetals - ein Landschaftsraum teils sakraler Prägung, den Volker-Johannes Trieb seit 30 Jahren ganzheitlich gestaltet, mystisch, magisch, sagenumwoben. Skulpturen- und Literatur-Stationen akzentuieren ihn, vom Mahnmal Augustaschacht bis zum Park des ehemaligen Guts Sutthausen. Da ist die Allee der Riesen, an ihrem Beginn der See von Avalon. Da ist die Sage vom Eichenwald. Und nicht nur im Waldgebiet Hörner Bruch öffnet Trieb den Himmel.
Starting point for an exploration of the nearby Dütetal - a sacred landscape, accented by the art of Volker-Johannes Trieb, adding character and color to this very special place. Sculpture paths are running through it, from the Memorial Augustaschacht to the former Gut Sutthausen. Visit the Avenue of the Giants leading to our own version of the lake of Avalon, deeply related to the Arthurian legends.
